What matters most to you
shapes everything you do.

This is what matters most to us.

Servant Leadership

From the top to the bottom, at Allen Keller Co, leadership means service.  Being a leader isn't about being more important, it's having the opportunity to serve others by supporting them in the work they are doing, making sure they are taken care of, and have what they need to get the job done well.

Work Smart

From the leadership team, to equipment drivers, to accountants, everybody is thinking about how to get the job done better.  This means that everybody is expected to problem solve, ask for help when they need it, and look for ways to jump in and help their teammates.

Full Engagement

This sums up everything we do.  We bring our whole selves to work: mind, body, and soul.  Nobody is treated like a cog in the machine and everyone is expected to show up fully present to the projects we've been entrusted with.

Caring for People and Caring for Equipment

Getting a job done well and on time is all down to the people.  Our care for people means that they actually enjoy their work and enjoy working with each other.

That joy is what inspires our work.

You may not always hear the words "heavy construction" and "joy" in the same sentence, but when you meet the people we hire and see the way we work together, it makes sense.

Care for our people starts with recognizing that we all have lives and families outside of work. We don't require weekend work and keep up with the triumphs and trials in the lives of our team, supporting them in whatever ways we can.

At AKC the other essential part of caring for our people is giving them the equipment they need to do their best work.  Our workshop is always busy maintaining our fleet and our back office works tirelessly to keep our crews supplied with the equipment and materials they need to do what they need to do.

This is the Allen Keller culture:
care for people, equipment, and a job well done.
